"Cleanliness is next to Godliness"

From June 16th to June 30th, 2024, Swachata Pakhwada was organized by CCL at DAV Public School Sawang, CCL, Bokaro, as part of the Swachh Bharat campaign. Various activities were conducted to raise awareness among students about the importance of cleanliness.

The program began with a motivational address from the Respected Principal, who highlighted the significance of cleanliness and sanitation in our lives. This set the tone for the enthusiastic participation of all students in the forthcoming activities.

June 21, 2024: A Swachata Sapath (Cleanliness Pledge) was taken by all students and teachers during the morning assembly, led by Senior PET, Mr. S.N. Rai. This pledge reinforced their commitment to maintaining cleanliness.

June 22, 2024:  The school organized an Essay Writing Competition, a quiz competition, and a painting competition. Students from classes IV to XII eagerly participated, showcasing their creativity and knowledge about cleanliness.

June 23, 2024: Students actively engaged in cleaning the school premises.This hands-on activity not only improved the school's environment but also instilled a sense of responsibility and satisfaction among the students. 

June 29, 2024: CCL Kathara hosted a prize distribution ceremony at the GM Office Kathara. The General Manager delivered an inspiring speech on cleanliness, emphasizing its importance. He awarded the winners from DAV Public School with saplings, jute bags, prizes, and certificates. His encouragement to plant more trees to keep the earth green resonated with all present.

The Swachata Pakhwada at DAV Public School Sawang, CCL, Bokaro, successfully heightened awareness about cleanliness among students, fostering a sense of contribution to society and environmental responsibility.
