Formative Assessments (FA –1,2,3 and 4)

- Every student is required to get a qualifying grade D or above in all the subjects excluding 6th additional subject as per the scheme of study for the purpose of promotion to the next higher class.
- A student getting E1 or E2 grade in scholastic areas in one or more subjects will have to improve his/her performance in one subsequent attempt to obtain qualifying Grade D in these subjects and fulfill CCE norms.
- If a student fails to obtain qualifying grade D in one or more subjects, even after adding grade points from co-scholastic areas and after availing one improvement chance, he/she will be required to repeat in the It is mandatory to appear in both the Summative Assessments during the academic year.
- For Sr. Sec classes, a student’s rank shall be determined on the basis of his/her total marks in all the tests and examinations.
- For promotion, a student should pass in all the subjects and 40% aggregate is compulsory. A supplementary examination (only for very genuine cases) may be held in April.
- Only with a minimum attendance of 75%, a student is entitled to take the Annual Examination or the CBSE examination.
